Don, Erica's Dad, Hilton Head Island, South CarolinaMy family of five (2 adults and 3 kids age 11, 9, and 8) just got back from a 3 hour inshore fishing charter with captain Jason and it was amazing from beginning to end! Jason was super personable and fun to be around not to mention highly educated on the area and the marine life we were seeing.
Three hours was the perfect amount of time for us and in that time we managed to catch a bunch of live bait followed by 2 huge sting rays and 3 sharks - 2 Bonnethead Shark and one Atlantic Sharp Nose! They were tough to real in but Jason prompted us every step of the way!
It was a great experience for us and we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have some fun out on the water!

Moving forward with the process we were given price and location and a link to what we needed.
Now on the day of the charter captain Jason was very experienced, knowledgeable on Hilton Head fisheries, had an outstanding understanding, and made the experience for my family MEMORABLE. His equipment is grade A. His boat is very well maintained and spacious. I highly recommend him to one and all. He left such an impact my husband is planning a trip back now on our ride home!

By that I mean from a fantastic sound system on board belting out favorite tunes to watching him constantly working the bait & fishing lines for our party of 5 - to his magnetic personality which made all on board feel comfortable & guaranteeing fun for all.
We had 4 of 5 people not experienced in fishing but it didn’t matter as each one of us had the experience of “reeling one in”! We did a catch & release on a number of sharks like the black tipped & bonnethead which made the inshore fishing truly a fun day for all.

Even my wife who is not much of a fisherman had a great time being on the boat and caught her first fish. Jake was very beginner friendly.
My kids had the time of their lives and to see them laughing and smiling was worth every penny.

My husband and I don't have a fishing background, so we were fully relying on Captain Jason to lay the foundation for our 5 year old son and 3.5 year old daughter. All of us had a blast learning basic skills and techniques, catching a dozen gorgeous fish, and exploring the beautiful fishing spots.
Captain Jason is fun, patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. His boat was spotless and he was fully prepared with all the gear we needed so all we had to do was show up ready to have a good time.
I can't recommend his fishing charters enough. Our family made amazing memories and can't wait to get back on the boat in a few months.

He would cast him out and put him in the hot spot every time! We started out catching a lot of sea trout and a monster redfish! Once the fishing cooled down we moved spots and didn’t stay there but maybe 5 minutes. Once no one was getting any bites we moved on to the third spot and stayed the remainder of the trip. Here we caught flounder, sea trout and red fish. Once finished Captain Jake even cleaned the fish we kept and recommended we take part of them to the boathouse restaurant where they cooked them for us. The blackened sea trout was the best fish I have ever ate! We all highly recommend the 4 hour inshore fishing with captain Jake. 5 STARS AND 2 THUMBS UP!!

Boarding his beautiful boat, which along with all his equipment were clean and in top notch condition. Equipped with top of the line marine navigation technology and a mind blowing stero system. (Which he played all our favorite genres). Jason stellar Captain, a true angler that is passionate about what he does. An excellent guide with knowledge of all the areas he fishes. My first cast landed a nice sheepshead and he kept us on the fish until the last cast of the day. We have been on at least 15 Charters from our hometown of Ohio to South Carolina and Captain Jason's charter was the best by far.
Highly recommended, We will most definitely book with him again, and if you go out with Captain Jason you will too! Thanks again for an awesome day and sharing your beautifful lowcountry scenic waters with us.

My hubby and I were looking to do some fishing and we found the right guy. Our experience was great from start to finish. We went out and caught out bait (which we thought was really cool) and then headed to our spots. Poles weren’t in the water 5 minutes and we we’re hooking black tip sharks and fine tooth sharks. My husband and I actually both hooked into 5 ft fine tooth sharks at the same time.
Jason was so fun, kind and just a wonderful person.

Great communication prior to the trip and very flexible and accommodating to our needs, even started early to be sure we got to the bait before it scattered. And most importantly, knows where and how to catch fish - both in the backwater creeks (caught a bunch of redfish) and on the shark / tarpon grounds.
When we realized we were going to lose the fourth day we had planned, he worked hard to be sure we got our third day in - and caught fish. Knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic - just as excited as we were to land a big tarpon.

I cannot recommend Captain Jason enough. Our group consisted of a 65 year old Nana, a 40 year old mom, and two 12 year old boys. ALL FOUR OF US agreed this was BY FAR the best part of our entire vacation.
Jason sensed right away the passion my son has for fishing and he made it his mission to make this as memorable of an experience as was possible. He let him try a few adventurous techniques, he “included” him on making decisions for the trip (like if we should move to a different spot or not), he taught them to sight fish which isn’t always a possibility, and last but best of all, he DOUBLED my son’s personal best of 6 fish caught in one day by guiding him to catch 12 FISH!
My sweet boy was over the moon and has been ever sense! What made it all the more special was the true joy you could see in Jason as he made this experience possible. The other 12 year old (my son’s friend), a first time fisherman, started out the morning saying he was only there to watch. He now says not only was this the highlight of his trip but ALSO said that the next time we book a trip with Captain Jason, we BETTER bring him along!
Jason is knowledgeable, kind, considerate, fun, and he keeps a CLEAN BOAT! We all enjoyed that about the trip. Out of all of the charters we have been on, including in Hilton Head, this one exceeded them all! (Did I mention we saw a BALD EAGLE?!) We will WITHOUT A DOUBT be booking with him on our next trip!

Jason was fun, very hardworking, patient and just a really nice guy. He even found a special way for my son to get out onto the shore to catch crabs to use for his own bait. He fished from the shore (in the mud, which he loved) and caught redfish on the crabs he had caught on the shore himself! He had not only a fantastic time, but a unique and memorable one - Jason made all that happen with extra effort and a desire for his customers to have a memorable day.
