While the coasts and waterways of Hilton Head hold their charm, some love to leave the land behind for the simplicity of the sun and the waves.
Dolphins meander through the water. Seagulls fly overhead through painted skies that touch the water at endless horizons. But the main attraction for the offshore angler is the adventure in chasing what swims below the surface.
In addition to heavy-duty tackle, it takes a lot of determination and athleticism to land these fish and sharks. Prior experience with offshore fishing is usually required to participate. If you’re a novice angler who wants to cast your own line, inshore fishing is recommended.
Unlike inshore fishing, the availability of offshore fishing charters is limited to fair weather days. We will work with you to reschedule or modify your trip (i.e. move to a secluded spot inshore) if conditions at sea are unsafe.
